I was thinking last night about people.  Our love for our children is immeasurable; we acknowledge progress no matter how small and refuse to let the times they fall down or make a bad choice reflect on their person as a whole.  And yet, with the average person out there, we have no problem judging them at first meeting (I’m the most guilty of this), summing them up for one failure and moving on.

Last night, as we moved through a crowd of people at the benefit concert for MKD, I watched people from different backgrounds all moving about the same space.  I wondered how things would change in the world if we each viewed the people around us as we do our children- measuring them by each small success.

Just a thought.
